Elisabetta Bagli was born in Rome (Italy), lives in Madrid (Spain). She is a writer of poetry, short stories and essays and she is also a translator and interpreter of Spanish. Some of her poems and writings have been translated into several languages. She is translator, writer, poet, essayist, columnist, radio correspondent, events organizer, representative of several Spanish, Italian and International cultural Associations. She is the author of books of poetry, books of stories, a fairy tale, articles and essays for newspapers and magazines around the world. Operating in more than a hundred national and international anthologies, she is the President and a Former member of the Jury in many national and international literary prizes. She has received many prestigious awards, including the Mayte Spínola Diploma of Honor for artistic merit from the Pro Arte y Cultura group in 2017 (Spain), the Distinction for Outstanding Woman in culture, 2019 awarded by the Latin American Women’s Forum, Mar del Plata (Argentina), the Italian Award for Culture 2019 awarded by the Italian Ambassador Stefano Sannino in Madrid (Spain), Najiman Prize in Lebanon on July 2020 and many others prizes in Italy, in Spain and all over the world for cultural merits.

Ascolta questa terra dalle voci straziate, dai fiori che piú non bevono dal cielo, ma si dissetano con lacrime intrise di sangue nel giaciglio eterno di uomini addestrati al male.
Ascolta queste pietre scagliate da chi si erge giudice tra miseria, fango, umiliazione e odia e instilla odio nei corpi e nelle menti distrutte e saccheggiate di ogni identità.
Ascolta questa polvere dalle braccia incandescenti, la sua marcia arrogante pei sentieri di guerra, l’antico appetito che rade violento case, la sua furia mortale che tumula civiltà.
Ascolta, uomo!
Perché sei ubriaco delle fiamme, quando le tue mani son nate per costruire pace?
Perché godi nel vedere dittature e morti, quando sei nato libero di vivere e amare?
Ascolta, uomo! Dona al mondo intero speranza e terre sane! Per quanto?
Un’ora? Un giorno? Un mese, un anno solo?
Tu puoi l’eternità!
