Tom Smarda spent ten years during the 70’s hitch-hiking around North America, playing music from the Yukon to Guatemala, from the east coast to the west coast, in Canada, as well as the States. Exposed to many cultures, witnessing the on-going destruction of the Earth, hand-inhand with increasing poverty and injustice, inspired him to write songs which hopefully can constructively and compassionately address some important universal concerns. He believes that?we can house, clothe and feed one?another without destroying the Earth in the process for future generations.”

NATURE

What is the beauty of nature, And the breath of life Which has been and is Spoken into movement, And the interaction of community Into the wholeness of a leaf, Of the soil and its components And the various aspects of light, From the sun and from the water Where roots flow ever deeper, And the nurturing warmth Shines from the sky?

How do we absorb such energies In a balanced way, As intended through the changes Which we experience and are going through, Whether we recognize it or not? Some things we have choices about. With greater conscious awareness Comes greater responsibility.

ALIENS

So are aliens some off-world Beings that have conscious Access to some technology

That can manipulate energies

At a sub-atomic level, To actually change not only

The free-flow of basic matter, But actually our perception of it?

So how does one define the world?

And at that level, What is in the world, Of the world and off the world?

What is the centre,

And what is the energetic envelope

Which our perception of experience

Makes it all seem to be held together?

What is togetherness anyways?

Are these the same beings

That were not limited to time

Form or space millenia ago?

BENEVOLENCE

So is technology merely Some blunt instrument Of a rigid electro-magnetic grid Pattern in a linear fashion, That usurps creativity To control some outcome?

What are the different Comparable qualities of freedom, And can having an accurate Overview of the whole proceedings

Be taken from a benevolent perspective? Where are we introducing time

To a fixed print-out that Produces an image on paper?

Who can deny that they are A part of it all?

What does being immersed in the Conscious awareness of the Father Son and Holy Spirit really mean?
