We speak a lot about our ExCo team – whether its decisions being made, visiting different offices, or inviting you to Ask ExCo lunches… but do you know who they are and what they do?

What is ExCo?

ExCo stands for Executive Committee. Our ExCo team is Tandem’s Senior Management Team who share many years’ experience in the financial services sector – their real-life lending, credit risk, and technology expertise is crucial in our aim to create the UK’s first greener digital bank. Each member of ExCo, is responsible for their own business area, team and performance in relation to the overall Bank strategy and results. They’re the team who have to make the big (and sometimes difficult!) decisions about our business.

To understand how our bank run, it’s important you know who is an ExCo member. Over the coming months, we’ll be introducing each member so you can get to know them a little bit more.

This month, we wanted to share the org chart so you can put names to faces. Our ExCo consists of Alex, (CEO Designate), together with six ‘Chiefs’, plus Managing Directors and two Directors.

The best way to do this, is for us to be open and honest with our people, and offering various ways for you to ask questions, be listened to, and to get the right answers. So, we’ve launched an Ask ExCo initiative for 2023.
