WHAT DJERF AVENUE ALREADY DO
One of Djerf Avenue’s core values is sustainability. That’s why the clothes that they produce are non-seasonal, timeless designs which are made to stand the test of time and still look great for years to come (Toresson, 2022). Djerf Avenue’s pieces are ethically produced and manufactured in Portugal, Sweden and Italy. On Djerf Avenues website they have a section which explains where they produce their garments, being completely transparent with their consumers. Djerf Avenue’s actions so far regarding how ethical they are consist of :
Only using natural, organic, regenerated, or recycled fibers in all of their garments. Instead of polyester labels they use organic cotton labels. All of the packaging is made from 100% recycled materials, even down to security tags. When a garment is returned with flaws, they collect it and use it for re-make projects or for re-sell availability. Djerf Avenue never destroy or throw away faulty items.

They have opened up a warehouse in the US so that they can ship all of their US orders to customers via trucks. Only ever use natural corozo buttons instead of plastic buttons
When it is possible, Djerf Avenue produce made-to-order garments in order to minimize waste. They do not include spare buttons with garments but keep a stock in the Djerf Avenue office, if a customer does need an extra button.
Djerf Avenue attach necessary hang tags to their pieces only to provide information about the products and not for branding purposes.
As a company Djerf Avenue will always offer customers to take any flawed items to a tailor or dry cleaner at Djerf Avenue’s cost instead of returning them, thus expanding the lifespan of the garments produced (Djerf Avenue, 2023).

All of Djerf Avenue’s factories follow European laws and policies regarding Labour relations practices. Djerf Avenue created the concept of Re-Sell for their garments. This is where people can list an item to sell or shop from the listed items at a discounted price straight from Djerf Avenue’s website. There will be a stand at the pop-up for Djerf Avenue Re-sell.
