Tactical applications of “Buffer zone”

The dense nature of the site meant that there were often areas that had very poor lighting making it unpleasant and, in certain areas, dangerous. This was compounded by the use of awnings on shop fronts and in front of people’s homes. The use of the ladybird plug in for grasshopper allowed us to see which areas of the site were in the most need of regeneration, which we then used to position our proposals.
