ability to do everything in house, from manufacturing to installing; it is all done by DAG-Wood craftsman and employees. The purpose for keeping all functions within DAG-Wood was born on the need for consistent quality products and production control to keep the tongueand-groove style of manufacturing. The wood-staining process is also done by DAG-Wood, either on-site after installation, or in a staining booth at their Osler location. Custom stain matches are always an option for customers who are trying to keep the look of their space consistent with other wood pieces. David says if they do not have a particular stain colour available in their showroom, they will order it specifically for the customer. All the materials used for production are all locally sourced, as the company believes in supporting the local economy and businesses.
DAG-Wood’s inclusion of the CNC machine to their production facility has allowed them to accomplish much more intricate and custom designed projects in a short amount of time. The computer operated machine requires a qualified opperator. The piece of equipment is fairly large and able to accommodate substantially large pieces of wood in order to replicate the design in the computer. With its impressive capabilities there is not much the machine cannot accomplish.
Employee dedication In order to provide quality customer service David conducts all the training of employees. The company’s staff includes 18 of the best craftsman, spray technicians, installers and front-end staff—all dedicated to offering DAGWood standard service to the customer.
