Nestled at the end of a private drive, Little Lavender is a charming five-bedroom detached house offering a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. With approximately three thousand square feet of living space, this property boasts five spacious bedrooms, three reception rooms, and three bathrooms.
Set on a secluded, south-facing plot of about one acre, the property offers privacy and beautiful views. It also includes a double garage and is conveniently located near Knockholt Station, making it ideal for commuters. The semi-rural setting and the special character of the area add to the charm of this home.

When we first found Little Lavender, it felt like discovering our own secret world. Tucked away down a private road off another private road, it is secluded and not overlooked by any neighbours. All we can see is fields, trees, and the occasional sheep in the distance. We loved it immediately, not just for the spacious, sunny house, but for the peace and beauty that surrounds it.
“Every room here feels generous, many with double or even triple aspects, so the sun makes its way into each space at some point during the day. The kitchen is the heart of our home – big enough for a substantial breakfast bar and a table that seats ten. When family visits, the children perch at the bar while I cook, laughter spilling into the air. For more formal occasions, our double-aspect dining room with its round table has hosted everything from Christmas feasts to engagement dinners.
“Outside, there is an acre of grounds to enjoy. The garden wraps around the house, with a patio that runs straight from the kitchen and sitting room. Facing east, it catches the morning light, and by afternoon the sun has moved across the entire garden. In summer, trailing ivy and geraniums spill over the retaining wall, providing a picture-perfect backdrop for outdoor entertaining.
“We had dreamed of adding a granny annex here so my mother could live with us – there is certainly space and potential for planning – but life now calls us elsewhere. It is hard to leave such a bright, big, and welcoming home, but I hope the next owners will treasure it as we have.
“Despite the feeling of being deep in the countryside, we are only two miles from the M25, with Bluewater or Brighton an easy drive, and a fast train to London in 20 minutes. Yet, every evening here still ends with fields and sunsets.”*
