Hambleton is a village and civil parish in the English county of Lancashire. It is situated on a coastal plain call the Fylde and in a n area east of the River Wyre known locally as Over Wyre. The Fylde coast beaches stretch from Lytham St Annes in the south to Fleetwood in the north. Further north you will find t he town of Morecambe and the city of Lancaster and you’re less than an hour and a half drive to the Lake District.

Hambleton village is within walking distance and has a number of small independent businesses, local pubs and bus route connections to all major towns.

Bob Williamson village park is a short walk offering a childrens play area, dog walking, picnic area and hosts the annual gala fair.

Further towards the River Wyre you will find the local petrol station, post office, convenience store and takeaway shops. Th ere’s an abundance of local country pubs in the vicinity, The shard Inn on the banks of the River Wyre, The Cartford Inn, The Farmers Arms in Great Eccleston and the River Wyre to enjoy Sunday lunch. The market town of Poulton-LeFylde is a ten minute drive and enjoys a vibrant nightlife with its numerous bistros, restaurants, pubs, takeaways and nearest train station.

Local walks around the village provide views to Longridge Fell and the Forest of Bowland. The award winning Wyre Estuary Country Park situated on the banks of the River Wyre is a green flag country park and can be reached by car in under fifteen minutes. Locally you will find a number of local horse st ables and water sports including jet skiing and sailing on the River Wyre.
