Handbagology The Daniela de Montby brand embraces an avant-garde approach to shake the foundations of the conventional handbag world. Previously referred to as ‘head-made handbag art’, its creator, Daniela de Montby, is a former psychologist who likes to apply psychological concepts to her fashion designs. The De-stress line of handbags based on the ‘bubble wrap’ theory, the Picnic and Bowtie handbag lines, and the one-of-a-kind range, have led to her proudest concept so far: handbags whose designs are based entirely upon the individual customer’s personality.


Customers are invited for a one-to-one session with the designer, and are asked a series of questions which create a mental image in the artist’s mind that she uniquely reproduces in the workshop, reflecting the individuality of the customer.
