“We love all the areas of our home but are particularly fond of the kitchen. It is such a bright and friendly room and is inevitably where everyone gathers to catch up on news and to enjoy sitting around the table for enjoyable relaxed meals.

Seller Insight This impressive family home is set on the edge of the thriving, semi rural village of Alvechurch, and is surrounded by delightful countryside. It also has the advantage of being conveniently located to centres such as Worcester, Birmingham, Warwick and Stratford upon Avon, with road, rail links and airports being easy to access. The village itself has a wealth of amenities which includes schools within walking distance from the house, cricket and rugby clubs, excellent local shops, together with public transport to the larger towns. Enjoyable walks can also be had along the nearby canal towpath. “We required a sizeable family home and fell in love with this lovely location and all that it had to offer. The house, built in 1929, was in quite a sorry state when we purchased it but, being set on a generously sized plot of land, its potential to become our dream home was obvious. We completely gutted it, put on an extension and renovated it throughout and it proved to be the most perfect family home for the past eighteen years.” “With such spacious, flexible and practical, accommodation, the house has served us well, especially for our children, as there has always been plenty of space for them to pursue to individual hobbies. One of our reception rooms has now become a splendid playroom for our grandchildren, whilst one of the four bedrooms has been utilised as a convenient office for home working.” “We are particularly fond of our reception room which opens out onto our patio. It is a room for all seasons, doors open wide on sunny days, whilst it is an area in which to enjoy on cold winter days when the fire is lit and it becomes a cosy haven.” “The house has outgrown our needs and it’s time for another family to enjoy living here. We have so many happy and treasured memories of our life here, particularly those sunny days in the garden with family around.”

“Our house stands well back from the road and has lots of parking space. Our large garden overlooks a recreation field and is immensely private. Mainly laid to lawn, we do have a number of productive fruit trees. We created a pretty area at the end of our garden with a gazebo and other facilities, which is a lovely family space when our grandchildren come to visit.
