Mr McFall’s Chamber Opening with the Bukhari Community Choir
Saturday 29 September 5pm Universal Hall The Park, Findhorn £12 / £10 Under 26s (YOYP) £5
The jewel in the Scottish musical crown. The Scotsman
Potentially the most important single development on the Scottish music scene for a long time.
Can you hear the influence of Mozart’s childhood tour of Europe? Mendelssohn’s travels to streets of Paris and the wilds of Scotland? Or Piazzolla’s journey from tango to classical via Buenos Aires, New York and Paris? Mr McFall’s Chamber, the newly crowned winners of the Scottish Awards for New Music 2018, have been hailed for their innovative programming and stylistic plurality. This line up includes special guest pianist Graeme McNaught. An opening concert set from Bukhari, who are an open access Moray-based community choir, singing songs exclusively from the Republic of Georgia.
