Ghasita returns to his village on the outskirts of Varanasi from the city after ten years, only to find his family in poor financial state. Ghasita meets his childhood friend, Pawaru, who used to be poor but is now a rich man. He is surprised and curious by the transformation in Pawaru’s fate. Pawaru turns out to be a hard nut to crack. It takes great effort on Ghasita’s part to know the secret, and the revelation leaves him baffled. Pawaru is the owner of a well-organized begging business in Varanasi. According to him, the business is nothing to be ashamed of as it is a blessing of Lord Shiva himself for his disciples in their holy city. Pawaru offers Ghasita to start a franchise of the business. And to change the fate of his family, Ghasita accepts the offer.
