‘Daagdi Chaawl’ is the story of Suryakant Shinde a.k.a Surya, who is a simple and courageous man. He is the son of a constable and lives in a ‘chaawl’ in Abhuday Nagar. After completing his education from ITI, he starts working in a garage. During Holi, he meets Sonal and instantly falls for her. Love blooms and they start dating each other. But Surya’s life takes a drastic turn when he slaps a goon for misbehaving with Sonal. The goons turn out to be from ‘Daagdi Chaawl’, which is known for a gangster, Daddy. Their leader, Chandu Mama threatens Surya that he will take his life. This incident forces him to join hands with the criminal forces. Will Surya survive the gang? Will he be able to save his family from them? Will he be prove his innocence to police and Daddy? Or will he be dragged unknowingly into the gang and gang-wars?
