RESTAURANT REVIEW OF BARDA Barda Restaurant & Bar is situated in the heart of Chelmsford's West End on Broomfield Road. The restaurant and bar is close to the train station and with easy parking it's a great place to eat during the day for lunch or an evening meal. The restaurant is wood panelled, simple and elegant, with art from Interior Angle, which is regularly changed. This modern, minimalistic venue feels comfortable, relaxed and stylish all at the same time. The choice on the menu at Barda gives an excellent selection of meat, game and fish, with an appetizing vegetarian option. The food looked extremely appetizing, with our starters served on slate tiles, the food tasted as good as it looked. The skate was particularly good, full of flavour and at the same time light and delicate. The welsh beef was cooked to perfection and accompanied with roasted tomatoes, asparagus, and fine beans with a light tempura batter, I'd definitely recommend trying it! A FEW THINGS ABOUT BARDA...
