The Tigers held tough in their losses, with two of them on the road by a combined 10 points (including a historic seven-overtime loss to Texas A&M). This will be the sixth time an SEC team has appeared in the Fiesta Bowl and the first since 2000, when Tennessee lost to Nebraska 31-21.
