In a modern world, where households have multiple gadgets and children are more likely to ask for an iPad or the latest computer game for Christmas instead of a bike, the joys of being active outside and exploring our natural surroundings are being lost. Survive in the Wild: Shelter Building
Using all the natural materials you can find from a quick scavenger hunt, your family will be building shelters in the woodlands around the Centre. Can you make one that will keep your family safe and warm?! This is aimed at over 5’s but younger family members are welcome with parental help. Lasts approximately 2 hours. All equipment will be provided.

Under the Sea: Snorkelling
Get down with the fishes and swim along the bottom of the sea identifying weird, wacky and wonderful creatures. Don’t worry mums and dads, children will be snorkelling alongside our qualified instructors. This is suitable for beginners (as long as they can swim), or improvers. This is aimed at over over 8’s but younger family members are welcome with parental help. £10.00 per person. Wetsuits and snorkelling equipment will be provided however, you will have to bring swimsuits or swimming trunks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Are all locations the same?
Each location prides itself on having its own unique character and therefore the standard and type of facilities available may vary. En-suite rooms may be available at some locations, but showers and toilets are close by if not.
Are babies/toddlers welcome?
Yes all age children are welcome and we don’t charge for under three year olds (age at the time of arriving on your holiday).
Will I be sharing a room with another family? No, each family will get their own room(s) together.
What’s the food like?
Each Centre provides healthy and hearty meals however the menu does vary per Centre. A typical day’s menu may be: A limited cooked breakfast with a choice of cereals and toast. A packed lunch. An evening meal with a meat or vegetarian option such as curry or pasta, a desert and a choice of fruit. Tea, coffee and squash are * always available along with homemade afternoon cakes. * The majority of our centres have received this award.
How much participation is needed from parents in activities?
We encourage participation from parents. Yet with some activities parents will watch from a distance, for instance with the snorkelling activity most parents watch on the sand while children are in the sea. However we do have to state that we will not take children on activities without parents being there.
