City Museum

The City Museum is 30 minutes away, but you can spend your whole day there and still not explore the whole building. You can even go down the ten-story slide or get in a bus that’s hanging off the roof. They are constantly making changes to the building so each time you go, it could look different.

Stl Arch

Perhaps the most iconic landmark around St. Louis, the Arch is a must go to. The view from the top of the Arch is incredible and unlike anything else.

Katy Trail

Main Street St Charles

Full of life and charm, many local shops will give your day trip lots of fun. Main Street hosts many different festivals and seasonal activities.

THE MUNY

The Muny is the largest outdoor theater in North America and produces seven musicals every season (June-August). It is a great place to have a fun night. “It’s an outdoor theater so it’s nice outside and you get to watch a play that is awesome.”

Union Station

This is a wonderful place to spend some time partially inside and partially out. There is a lovely koi fish pond in the center and a Ferris wheel, ropes course, aquarium, restaurants and more surrounding the area.

If you are looking to get outside and be active, this is a perfect way to do it. The Katy Trail runs for a very long stretch (240 miles) and you can hike, run or bike anywhere along it. It’s mostly flat and has some beautiful scenery as you journey.

Plenty of different areas to check out depending on what you’re interested in.

This was a childhood favorite of many and is still fun to go look at the animals. The train cannot be looked over, as taking a trip through the park is one of the most fun parts of going to the zoo.

Six Flags

A day full of fun with friends and family, Six Flags has plenty to do from riding roller coasters and other rides to eating food or playing games, you are sure to find something you enjoy.

WAPELHORST PARK

Only a short four minutes away from FHN, Wapelhorst Park offers a lot, not to mention the aquatic facility with its slides and lazy river, open from May to August.
