Have you ever felt like you do not understand something in class? Or you really want to progress from D to C or S on a particular KO? Then you need to collaborate! Just like these champs below, collaboration is when you communicate directly with a teacher on the specific DPR Key Objective. You can ask for help or submit extra work that you may have done to help you secure a KO.

Doing this means you are taking responsibility for your learning and in doing so, ensuring you are able to make the best possible progress in your lessons!

HOW TO

COLLABORATE COLLABORATE STEP 1

On your dashboard page click on the subject tile that you would like to collaborate on

STEP 2

Identify the KO that you have yet to secure or you may want to explore further. Click on the speech bubble to begin collaboration.

STEP 3

There are various ways you can collaborate with your teacher. You can upload a piece of work you have completed by clicking on the paper clip or upload a voice recording by clicking on the mic. The voice recording is great for Drama, MfL and Music!

Your teacher will review your work and update the judgement on the DPR if they think you have demonstrated the relevant level of knowledge and understanding. Make sure you respond to the teacher feedback so you can secure the KO!

Lola (10g) used the dpr collaboration to research an alternative street artist instead of "bANKSY" WITH MS MCCLURG FOR ART!

Born April 1988, is the first female graffiti artist of Afghanistan. Through her artworks, Shamsia portrays Afghan women in a male dominant society. Her art gives Afghan women a different face, a face with power, ambitions, and willingness to achieve goals. The woman character used in her artworks portrays a human being who is proud, loud, and can bring positive changes to people’s lives. During the last decade of post-war era in Afghanistan, Shamsia’s works have brought in a huge wave of color and appreciation to all the women in the country.

Her artworks have inspired thousands of women around the world and has given a new hope to female Afghan artists in the country. She has motivated hundreds of Afghans to bring in their creativity through her graffiti festival, art classes, and exhibitions in different countries around the world.
