These are flowers that abound in my garden symbolizing the harmony that can exist in our world. An abstract composition of detailed figurative floral sets the colour palette and extends into the Byzantine gold frame, or «border», woven into a mosaic of intricate patterns. I have used different stages of the tulip’s flowering to mark the various stages of its life, each recognized as being as beautiful a s t h e o t h e r. . . Ce tapis est inspiré d’un travail effectué en 1989 avec les pieds d’une poupée représentants les pistils d’une tulipe, avec des roses à différentes étapes de floraison, accentué avec les cynorrhodons, le tout créé par une harmonie d’éléments figuratifs en mouvements.

Originally designed and realized in Opio mosaics as a n e l e v a t o r s h a f t f o r M i c h e l P a s t o r, t h i s « R u n n e r » Byzantine hop-scotch pattern travels from black and white tones to colour-pattern degradations of gold and turquoise, reminiscent of ancient Egypt and Native America.
A l’origine ce tapis est une cage d’ascenseur créé et réalisé pour Michel Pastor avec des mosaïques d’Opio. Ce motif Byzantin, un peu comme une marelle, va du noir au blanc avec des dégradés dans les tons dorés et turquoises rappelant l’Egypte Ancienne et l’Amérique.
Having always been fascinated with the wall frieze, this carpet announces the arrival of the floor frieze. Working with mosaic glass tiles has inspired patterns blending beautifully in silver and varying muted tones, now translated into carpets with silk and wool threads.

Born in 1955, Patrick Moya studied at the Villa Arson before posing as a nude model at the Beaux-Arts for 10 years. I n 1 9 9 5 h e c r e a t e d h i s c h a r a c t e r, a m i x of a self portrait and Pinocchio which he reveals in pseudo naïve pictures. Since then he has had a series of exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the United States. C r e a t o r o f D o l l y, t h e m a s c o t s h e e p o f t h e famous Dolly Party techno parties, he has just finished the chapel that carried his name in Clans. He is the only living artist to own an island that carries his name in the virtual universe of Second Life, and is one of its most dynamic artists.

Moya has a bad habit of putting his name everywhere : on his pictures, in his sculptures and in his films. This can annoy people, except in Moya-Ville where he can happily write his name on all the walls. If you take time to look closely at Moya-Ville you’ll see the Moya Museum, the Moya chapel or the Moya square with a fantastic sculpture of Moya at its centre. Once you’ve visited Moya-Ville, it’ll be hard to forget Moya.
