DOG & PONY SHOW BREWING CO. OPENED FOR BUSINESS IN JUNE 2021. OWNED BY KYLE GIERADA, HIS WIFE STEPHANIE, AND BROTHERS AARON AND JOSH, THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME IS REMINISCENT OF THE BROTHERS’ CHILDHOOD.

“We were three rambunctious boys, and my dad would always ask, ‘What’s with the dog-and- pony show?” Kyle said.

Despite having this reputation all those years ago, the three brothers now work seamlessly together with each managing a separate facet of their venture. Kyle takes care of the business side, while Aaron handles social media, merch-andising and design, and Josh is the lead brewer. They help one another out, switching roles from time to time, but all know what they’re in charge of at the end of the day.

DOG AND PONY SHOW BREWING OFFERS WEEKLY SPECIALS, hosting happy hours and live bands, dance parties and more. There are a variety of food trucks on-site almost daily and the owners allow food to be brought into the taproom. A loyalty program gives members access to monthly offers via email and early access to new beer releases. The brewery even has coloring pages, games and snacks.

The Gieradas are thankful for the support of Oak Park, nearby Berkley and the surrounding communities. Opening during the pandemic was challenging but they’ve had a great first year and are still going strong.

The Brewing Co. offers a mixed indoor and outdoor area that accommo-dates up to 100 people for private events. Fees are $500 per hour plus the cost of beer. Online ordering is also available.
