In June of 2022, Empty Saddle Club, a private club focused on ensuring the continuation of Western-style riding, contacted COVERMASTER® in search of a replacement for their old openweave poly windscreens. One of the main requirements the Club had for their new windscreens was for them to function as a visual impairment for the horses and cows inside the arena. They wanted to prevent outside activity from distracting the animals.

Typically, the main purpose of equine windscreens is for wind and noise reduction, with increased privacy, sun shading, and improved appearance of arenas and racing tracks as further benefits.
