Post Collars Protect Farm Animals and Posts

It’s all part of life on a farm – livestock and wildlife like to sharpen and clean their teeth on fence posts.

While they are having a great time chewing and rubbing, they are also damaging the posts. The exposed wood left behind after a good chew is open to the elements. Wind, rain, snow and ice over the winter months will cause more damage. The moist wood will expand and contract, splitting the post.
