WELCOME TO e-SOCCER What is e-Soccer?
Southern Nevada E-Soccer was established to enrich and nurture the lives of children with special needs by providing opportunities for them to participate in a safe, nonjudgmental organized sporting environment. Through E-Soccer, children with special needs, typically developing children, parents, and coaches can develop a lasting friendship by building selfesteem which leads to higher self-confidence and overall improved social life skills.
What are we trying to achieve?
Our program’s goal is for typical peer teammates and coaches to promote well-rounded individuals through regular activity, positive sportsmanship and social interaction with the main emphasis on teaching everyone is different, and exemplifying ethical conduct, whilst integrating children with special needs. We are also partnering with various non-profit organizations servicing children with special needs.
The “E” in e-Soccer
The E stands for EXCEPTIONAL and EDUCATION — We believe that all children with special needs are truly exceptional. In combination with our mission and goal, we educate through training both typically developing children and those with special needs.
How it works
Each program is comprised of a number of small groups by age beginning with 3 year olds through 18 year olds. Within each group, 8-10 kids (half typical peers & half with special needs) participating together alongside each other. Each group is run by a head coach with several assisting coaches, and/or younger mentors. The average ratio of coaches to players we strive to maintain is 1:3. This uniquely high ratio of coaches to players helps provide the individual attention that children with special needs require to positively develop and progress. Coaches receive training & instruction in working with special needs as well as soccer fundamentals.
What does it cost?

$10 per player for player’s e-Soccer T-shirt! This is a free program, funded by sponsors and donations.

March 24 - May 19 (no e-Soccer on April 7) Time Commitment ----1 hour each Saturday: • 30 minutes (skills and drills) • Snack & Water Break • 20 minutes scrimmage games
(for kids and parents who are already registered)
Spring Season Begins: Saturday, March 24, 2012 (total of 9 weeks;
however no Esoccer April 7 (Spring Break)
