Hello. I am Jo and I love to create gifts that can be cherished forever. Handmade from my home in Kent, feather.ink is a collection of gifts for your favourite little people, family or friends. All created using watercolour and ink with a dash of photoshop!

Choose from the off-the-shelf ranges or I also love a collaborative project so please do get in touch if you have any ideas.

feather.ink became a ‘something’ in 2019, 6 months after my first child was born. I wanted to paint a card for my Godsons first birthday and so I uncovered the cobwebs from my watercolour paints and brushes and painted him an H made from animals.

A month later, I wanted to gift an S to my niece who was starting school that September and my mum suggested I paint all the animals that start with that letter. The animal alphabet had arrived. And is where my passion grew into a wish to turn a hobby into a business.

Graphic Design is my background, so I started an instagram account and documented the creation of the feather.ink brand, from a name-less, logo-less, something to, well, hopefully a little more than a something.

Promise to the planet: I wish to look after the planet in the best way that I can. I do not use plastic in my products, packaging or shipping. Where possible I use fairtrade, organic or recycled materials and my paper meets all the FSC requirements for green printing. I wish to use minimal carbon footprint so will reuse where I can and if you do find bubble wrap in my packaging, it is being reused :).
