RECRUITING HIRING THE BEST OF THE BEST FCPD recruiters partnered with local organizations, high schools, universities, and military installations to reach
members of our diverse community in an effort to mirror
those we serve. While the pandemic caused challenges, our recruiters held virtual events and application workshops.
Social media advertisements and a new electronic personal
history statement further extended our outreach. Despite the year’s challenges, our recruiters created the opportunity to
reach candidates efficiently with increased levels of personal attention.
In 2020, FCPD recruiters attended or hosted 91 events,
made 479 contacts, received 2,313 Police Officer and Animal
Protection Police Officer applications, and held 12 application workshops.
