CANINE SECTION GROWING OUR TEAM In the fall of 2020, our Canine Section welcomed the newest member of the
team, Millie! She came to us from Georgia around nine weeks old. Millie joined our
existing team of eighteen canines, fifteen handlers, three of which are supervisors.

Millie began her training late last year. She is expected to be able to start
searching for missing people in mid to late 2021.
In 2020, her partners helped our
department in many ways. Our Canine
Section had 463 patrol deployments and completed 129 narcotic sniffs.
