Franklin Christian Academy's summer camps are desgined to provide a fun and nurturing environment that is rooted in FCA's three pillars:

VOLLEYBALL

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMP (5th-6th Grade)

Coach: Catherine Cram and Staff

Cost: $100 per session

Session I Date (Time): June 18th (9:00 AM -12:00 PM)

Session II

Date (Time): July 15th (9:00 AM -12:00 PM)

Head Varsity Coach Catherine Cram brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in training many collegiate volleyball players and coaching state championship volleyball teams. These clinics will serve as an opportunity to enhance volleyball fundamentals and learn in a fun and safe environment.

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMP (7th-8th Grade)

Coach: Catherine Cram and Staff

Cost: $100 per session

Session I

Date (Time): June 19th (9:00 AM -12:00 PM)

Session II

Date (Time): July 16th (9:00 AM -12:00 PM)

BASKETBALL

BOYS SKILL CLINICS (5th-9th Grade)

Coach: Wayne Smith

Cost: $130 per week

Date (Time): June 24th -27th (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Led by Head Varsity Coach Wayne Smith, participants will be taught and drilled on each day, individual fundamental skills, and campers will learn team offensive & defensive concepts. Wayne played at Belmont before playing overseas, additionally, he is a Nike Camp Instructor and Coach for the Upward Stars travel program.

GIRLS SKILL CLINICS (5th-9th Grade)

Coach: Wayne Smith

Cost: $130 per week

Date (Time): June 24th -27th (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Led by Head Varsity Coach Wayne Smith, participants will be taught and drilled on each day, individual fundamental skills, and campers will learn team offensive & defensive concepts Wayne played at Belmont before playing overseas, additionally, he is a Nike Camp Instructor and Coach for the Upward Stars travel program.

BASKETBALL MINI CLINIC (6th-8th Grade)

Coach: Wayne Smith

Cost: $120

Boys Session Date (Time): July 8th - July 10th (9:00 AM -11:00 AM)

Girls Session Date (Time): July 8th - July 10th (11:00 AM -1:00 PM)

BASKETBALL SHOOTING MACHINE LAB (8th-12th Grade)

Coach: Wayne Smith

Cost: $30 per hour session

June 28th, July 15th, July 19th, July 26th (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

July 6th (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

July 22th and July 23rd (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM)

Led by Head Varsity Coach Wayne Smith, the shooting lab is co-ed and for the serious player that is wanting to improve shooting mechanics and shooting form while improving their footwork and body posture, and consistently working to get up as many shots in the duration of their one hour session. Only 5-6 players are allowed in the lab per hour, to maximize shooting workout time of each player using the shooting machine during that time. Shooting Lab is recommended for middle school & high school varsity players, travel team/AAU travel/club players, and any kids that have played organized basketball for a minimum of 2 years.

Creative Crafting (5th-12th Grade)

Leader: Wendy Wilson

Cost: $150

Dates (Time): June 10th-14th (9:00 AM-12:00 PM)

Max. Capacity: 12

Crafting can be fun for anyone with even just a little creativity. You'll be surprised what you can make with the right materials and some inspiration! We'll delve into paper crafts (creating bookmarks, cards, decor, and origami) as well as make friendship bracelets and learn how to crochet Some activities will involve instruction, while at other times students will be free to come up with their own unique designs and creations using provided materials.

Dance Camp (5th-12th Grade)

Leader: Samantha Barnes

Cost: $215

Session I Dates (Time): June 10th-14th (9:00 AM-12:00 PM)

Session II Date (Time): July 8th - July 11th (9:00 AM- 12:00 PM)

Take your dance skills to the next level! Step up your dance technique with across the floor progressions and explore genres of dance like jazz, hip hop, pom and lyrical through a variety of combinations! Don’t miss this camp if you are aiming to be on a dance team and improve overall flexibility and movement as a dancer!

Our hope for the summer of 2024 is that you join us for at least one of our many camps. Ranging from athletics to arts to academics, the goal of our summer programs is to offer each student a means to plug in this summer and submerge themselves in our community of learning.
