Welcome to the 17th Annual Silent Auction & Gala, The Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center is the only historic museum in the area that presents 10,000 years of regional history in state-of-the-art facilities. But the FAMCC is even more than that. It is a vital cultural center and economic engine for Historic Downtown Fredericksburg. Preserving our history, interpreting our cultural heritage, building community—all of these are at the heart of the mission of the FAMCC. The Museum has attracted thousands of visitors to the Historic District with its exhibitions, educational programs, and summer concert series. In all of these ways, the FAMCC is working to expand the vibrancy of this region’s cultural community. This dynamic work only happens because of the generous support of you—our members, sponsors, and neighbors. I would like to extend a sincere thanks to each of you and to this year’s dedicated Silent Auction Committee. I encourage you to bid high and bid often knowing your monies are an investment in sustaining the FAMCC as a valued community asset. Happy Bidding,
