WELCOME WARMLY // If you’ve ever felt unwelcomed, you know the value of a great first impression and a warm smile. We need your help to make sure we give the best first impression possible each and every Sunday as part of our Guest Services team! You can choose which service and we rotate volunteers, so the more, the merrier.
We also need additional volunteers to help with Extended Care rotation for preschoolers in each service, and volunteers to help with our bus ministry on Sundays when we are able to resume.
If you can volunteer for any of these or would like more information, contact Melissa Hatfield at melissa@fbcjc.org or 573.634.3603.
PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT, OCTOBER 8 // We are proud to partner in this annual event helping those persons who are homeless or near-homeless overcome as many barriers to permanent housing as possible. How can you help?
DONATE: Full size bottles of body wash, shampoo, and soap; new, white socks. We’ll have collection bins in the lobby for Sundays or you may bring it by the church office by September 8. VOLUNTEER: They are in need of a small amount of volunteers who can lift items and drive a church van. All participants and volunteers are required to wear masks. PRAY: Pray for the day, the volunteers, the organizations, and especially those in need of these services. GIVE: Your faithful giving to FBC JC supports ministries like these. If you’d like to give directly to PHC, visit www.jcmo-phc.org/event-info.
