CLASS NOTES
1975 ALICE HARLOW RONCONI writes, “I was sorry to miss Founders’ Weekend, but I was glad my brother, BROOKS HARLOW III ’81 was there to represent the family at the memorial for my mom, Mimi Harlow. I am currently consulting and looking for a new opportunity. As an ‘empty nester,’ I now have some flexibility with regards to relocation and travel.” JAMES MELLEY has this news: “I have been living in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC for the past five years. I am the Global Sales Director for A-B Emblem. They are a fifth-generation, family-owned embroidery company and are the official patch supplier to NASA for the astronaut office since the beginning of the Apollo program. We manufacture 70,000,000 emblems a year, with products for the troops in Afghanistan, Harley Davidson, Disney, and the Boy Scouts. I visited with JACK CECIL ’71 not too long ago, and ERIC TRUNFIO has been down to visit a few times with his wife Rania. Eric and I have remained very close friends since 1969. We try to get together whenever possible.”

1981 A. BROOKS HARLOW III wrote in early April with this update: “Hey all. I just want you to know I am coming up for the 30th to plant a tree in honor of my mother who passed away in December. I would love to see you all back, and catch up on years gone by. All my best, Brooks (Beezer).”
1985 It is with great pleasure that SETH BRENNAN, his wife, Elizabeth, and their children Annabelle, Jack, and Sophie welcomed Nate Winter Brennan into the world at 6:45 p.m.

1986 TANNIE BARNES-WILSON WEBB writes, “Last October, I left the music school where I taught for 13.5 years and now teach voice lessons out of my home studio. I still continue to judge vocal competitions and perform in the States. I look forward to attending my 25th reunion this spring!”
1987 GARY EICHELBERGER writes with this exciting news: “On October 28, 2010, my wife, Kacey, and I welcomed the arrival of our second child, John Gary "Jack" Eichelberger, III.”
1982 YESENIA BONILLA tells us that she has been working as an English teacher in Venezuela for 17 years and is currently teaching first grade English while completing her thesis on integrated teaching. She is also on the board of Ventesol, a national teachers’ organization linked to TESOL International, and she’s in the processing of organizing the national convention in Maracaibo. Writing about this year’s retiring faculty, she says, “In the case of Mr. Parsons, I have wonderful memories of his astronomy class, going to the lab, and going skiing. I also remember his very strong voice
on April 21, 2011. PATRICK WOOD-PRINCE writes, “I am living in Chicago and go to Newport in the summer. I am married to Meredith Tuttle Wood-Prince and have three kids. I see LAUREN ROSEN PURCELL and have been in touch with BURT GRAY. PAT BAKER and I cross paths, and he is a madman! CHRIS HUNT ’86 and I speak often and see each other frequently. If anyone has a chance to get through Newport this summer, look us up.”
1991 In late May, KEVIN O’BRIEN wrote, “My wife and I are expecting our third child within in a month or so and have a 2.5 year old daughter and 1.5 year old son. I have seen AARON SELLS ’92, KEITH BLADES ’94, and PRESTON PICARDI ’92 recently. We all gathered at Aaron’s bar in Boston. My wife is finishing her Ph.D. before child #3 and will be working at Brown. I am working for a commercial real estate company (Colliers International) in downtown Boston.” Gary Eichelberger ’87 and wife Kacey at the baptism of their son, Jack.
