The Freakapuss album New 21st Century Dimension, takes it’s influences mainly from pre Beatles, rock n roll, rhythm and blues, jazz, beat and pop, mixing up a kind of new beatnik punk style never heard before. Jam packed with hard driving minimalist rock n roll, psychedelic, dreamy and surreal atmosphere and explosive lyrics that Freakapuss say are the best and unequalled, world wide, in today’s mainstream music industry. New 21st Century Dimension features special guest appearances by JB Townsend from Crystal Stilts, Marion Herbain from Veronica Falls, Jay Hough from Sapphire Mansions, Anastasia Crisis and Lolita Zwicky. New 21st Century Dimension was mastered by Warren Defever. Freakapuss, was formed by Tronics man Zarjaz, who has been described as ‘the essence of rock n roll’, ‘the biggest underground star in the UK’ and ‘sits on the music scene like a time bomb waiting to go off’. In 2013, Uncut magazine said that ‘it has taken the best part of 30 years for the pop world to catch up to Zarjaz’. As a two piece combo, together with Steve Dore providing the driving, hard line backbone and rhythm section, Freakapuss are setting a high bench mark in the new 21st Century of rock n roll. New 21st Century Dimension appears on this label collaboration with Brett Lyman’s M’lady’s Records and the label of Chain & the Gang’s front man Ian F. Svenonius, Radical Elite Records.

The Labels M’lady’s Records M’lady’s Records, a label keen to express a no BS and nonsense attitude to releasing music. Based in Portland Oregon, the label was formed in 2007 and is co-owned by Brett Lyman and Fiona Campbel. The label proudly extends an impressive release catalogue that already includes recordings by Hysterics, Ruby Pins, Tyvek, Mecca Normal, Tronics and Dead Moon. Brett Lyman has been quoted as saying that he started the label as an experiment. “M’lady’s Records are not posers. It is the only label I have ever had any enduring faith in.
