About Astera Welcome to Astera. Astera’s Technologies Control System :: Astera has developed the most advanced control system for wireless event lights and is years ahead of its competitors. Instead of complicated DMX setups, Astera now has a touchscreen remote control that lets its users create effects, group fixtures and send selected commands to individual lights and groups. Radio Frequency :: Bi-directional communication, Astera’s fixtures can talk with each other and with their remote controller. This gives you the possibility of reaching lights that are out of distance of the remote control and therefore transmits over 1000m by forwarding commands from fixture to fixture. Stable Wireless DMX :: Astera is now able to offer a stable wireless DMX link that can transmit a complete DMX universe with a high refresh rate. TruColor Calibration :: Astera has developed a calibration system that offers automatic true color calibration, meaning that throughout all batches of lights, and under all conditions, the LEDs will reproduce the exact same colors. Automated Color Mixing :: Astera’s wireless protocol automatically calculates up to 6 LED colors out of RGB values. Currently, Astera supports RGBWA but in the future an additional color will be added. Efficient LEDs :: Astera’s X-Series only uses ultra-bright and highly efficient light sources from reliable LED brands such as Cree and Edison. This maximizes battery runtime and minimizes heat emission. Battery-powered :: Astera uses rechargeable Samsung batteries that are more dense and lighter than previous generations of batteries. That is how Astera can manufacture the world’s smallest and most lightweight wireless fixtures.
