Dear stamp collector, Not many of us could imagine at the beginning of the New Year that the year of 2020 would be all about the coronavirus. Covid-19 developed into a pandemic and it has ravaged most of the world with tragic and distressing consequences. Most of the countries of the world have taken its precautions and many countries were on lock down during the worst months. The Faroe Islands also closed its borders to a part of the outside world, but we at Posta Stamps have been at work as usual. We have had to hold back some outgoing mail as a number of countries were closed, but now the business is running again as usual. You can order our products in the web shop on the website www.stamps.fo, send us an email, a letter or give us a call. We dispatch as usual quickly and efficiently. Due to the risk of spreading the coronavirus, all spring and summer exhibitions were cancelled. Already now, we can announce that some of the autumn and winter exhibitions have been cancelled. We very much regret 2
this, but we have to adapt to the changing circumstances - and of course, we hope that we can see you in the coming year or maybe later this year. Otherwise, we hope that you and your loved ones are well and not too affected by the situation. Take care of yourself - maybe we will see each other again soon - somewhere out there.
