The other day, a gentleman from Crooks whose father had just passed away brought out some deer antlers. So we started adding those to a deer house or two.” Thursday nights in the summer, Critter’s Bar in Crooks hosts motorcyclists and others at “Thursday Night Thunder.” Each week includes an auction of items to benefit a charity or worthy cause such as the Crooks Daycare Center, Tri-Valley Archery or a local woman fighting cancer. Dalton decided to start giving birdhouses to the auctions.
