Unique system retrofits dribble bar to any tanker Mastek offers a unique system to retrofit a 7.5m dribble bar to the rear door of any make of slurry tanker. This is achieved by mounting the dribble bar directly onto a custom-built replacement door, with the fill point and splash plate moved to the rear of the dribble bar. This allows the dribble bar to be fitted within a matter of hours. Over the years, Mastek has gained extensive knowledge of all makes and models of slurry tanker, which it says makes it a market leader for retrofitting dribble bars to existing slurry tankers. The dribble bar requires one additional hydraulic service over what is already being used, which operates the folding mechanism and the macerator with the use of a hydraulic divertor valve and a changeover switch in the cab. Mastek fits its own award-winning ‘SuperCut’ macerator to the dribble
bar which was designed specifically to handle long fibre and debris by using six unique V-shaped cutting discs to shear long fibre and plastic. Each hose outlet has a one-way air valve, which gives an even flow and helps to prevent blockages. The full specification ‘professional’ universal dribble bar is fully galvanised with sprung loaded arm protection and weighs in at only 450kg, which ensures the weight distribution of the slurry tanker is not off-balanced.
