Summer Funshine
Summer Funshine is a recreational day camp for children 6-12 (as of May 25, 2023). The program meets 7 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays from May 25-August 9* (excluding May 29 and July 4) at the Farmers Branch Community Recreation Center. Activities include swimming, character development, arts and crafts, fitness programs, and much more. Free breakfast and lunch are provided through the C-FBISD’s Summer Food Service Program when available (June 5 – July 20). Each participant receives a program t-shirt.

Registration Information- Dates, Prices, Payment Schedule
Registration is available online only at fbyouthcamps.com. In-person registration is not accepted. Financial assistance is available on a limited basis to qualifying Farmers Branch families. Proof of residency is required for those seeking the resident rate or financial assistance. Families with outstanding fees are required to reconcile account balances before registering for the program.
Registration Dates:
Currently open to both residents and non-residents.
Two Payment Options Available:
Total program cost is the same regardless of which payment option is selected. Fees are based on total number of program days. Fees may be adjusted if the summer break is shorter or longer than the C-FBISD academic calendar.
Option 1: Pay in Full at Registration- credit/debit cards only
$1,378 for Farmers Branch residents
$1,696 for Non-residents
$636 - 1,060 for Farmers Branch residents on Financial Aid. Rates may vary.
Option 2: 10 payment installments with credit/debit card draft only
Resident rate per child: $137.80 | Financial Assistance (Residents only) per child: $63.60 - $106 | Non-Resident per child: $169.60
Note: First installment is due at registration. Installment drafts take place on a weekly basis on Friday. Last installment is drafted on Friday, July 28. Fees are based on 53 days (total number of program days). Fees may be adjusted if the summer break is shorter or longer than the C-FBISD academic calendar.
