What is Inconel 718?

 Inconel 718 is a nickel-based superalloy.  Superalloys possess excellent mechanical strength and are widely used in

extreme environments.  It contains chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo) and niobium (No), which

improves strength and ductility without heat treatment.  It is a gamma prime superalloy.
