Farida’s upgraded FPB-18 model includes a number of features truly outstanding for a guitar of this price-point.
The solid wood body and set maple neck give a great natural tone, boosted by the split humbucker pick-up configuration. The simple straight-ahead functionality of the single volume and tone controls are enough to give the player a host of easily accessible tonal options.
The body is made from solid swamp ash, matt finished to allow maximum resonance and movement. The clear open grain of the natural finish body is complemented by the rosewood fret-board, itself adding an extra layer of sustain to the overall tone. The plugged-in tone of the FPB-18 is solid and detailed, with the split hum-bucker getting the most from the superior wood construction.
