It tells the story of Guy Nuires and Charley Bruno, which meet each other on a train, and plan an ‘exchange of murders’. Bruno, being a psychotic, kills Miriam, Guy’s wife. Guy also kills Bruno’s father after Bruno’s insistence. Charley Bruno is a great and interesting character, representing a mistery. All one knows about him after the first encounter is that he hates his father and is slightly psychotic. He is an extremely unstable individual, so a very complex character. We can easy make a confusion between Bruno’s obsession for Guy and his homosexuality. Definitely, he is a bad influence for Guy, he can easy make him to do what he wants. He has a great ability in persuading Guy ‘Hey! Cheeses, what an idea! I kill your wife and you kill my father! We meet on a train, see, and nobody knows we know each other! Perfect alibis! Catch?’ From that moment Guy is trapped in Bruno’s dangerous game. I recomand this book because it’s a story about acts which destrou lives, murders, innocent people and dangerous attractions and desires. Definitely, this is a great book for readers which love the secrets and the mistery of agood story.
