The Air Force Meritorious Service Medal is awarded or posthumously awarded to Non-Commissioned Officer~ and Enlisted Men in the Republic of Vietnam Air Force,. who have served in the Air Force and meet one of the following requirements : Have been cited or wounded many times in combat or in line of duty. Have accomplished an exceptionally important achievement that reflects great crtdit on, or beneficial to the RVN Air Force in any field. The Air Force Meritorious Sevice Medal is also intended for foreign Non-Com missioned Officers and Enlisted Men for their meritorious. service to the Republic of Vietnam Air Fora.
