9 June – WOODLEY CARNIVAL at the Memorial Ground, Woodley, www.woodleycarnival.org.uk 52nd annual carnival to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Music and entertainment from 1pm, evening concert headlined by Abba tribute band through to fireworks at 10.30pm. Lots of attractions throughout the day including circus workshops, clowns, inflatables, wildlife displays, birds of prey, train rides, stalls, carnival procession and more.
