● Is this tutor a qualified, DBSchecked teacher?

● Can this tutor assess my child’s needs?

● What resources will the tutor be providing?

● Where will the tuition take place?

Look out for the word “instructor” or “qualified tutor” used in place of “qualified teachers”. Unfortunately, the tuition industry is unregulated and anybody can tutor without being a qualified teacher. It is up to you to make sure you ask questions to ensure you are getting the right person and the service you require.

Russell House has been rated ‘EXCELLENT’ on each key measure following its inspection.

Key findings are that the quality of the pupils’ academic achievements is excellent and the quality of the pupils’ personal development is excellent.

The inspection report describes pupils’ excellent work ethic and notes their achievement is excellent because it is promoted by small classes, specialist teaching and generous staffing levels.
