1. Who are you and where do you live? My name is Tamra Lind, I run Tamra's Dance Classes (TDC) and I live in Cadmore End. 2. Why did you set up the business? To be able to teach all my knowledge of being in the entertainment business to the next generation and to create a business with hours that could give me more time with my daughter. 3. What did you used to do? I used to be a professional dancer on television shows, touring with music artists and musical theatre. I have choreographed for shows such as The X Factor, the Voice and artists such as the Wanted and Olly Murs. 4. What inspired you to set up the business? Having my daughter inspired me to set up the dance classes. I want to give children an opportunity to learn from my experience as a choreographer and dancer. Being able to teach them a fun, healthy activity that gives them confidence and co-ordination is very rewarding. They are skills that they can carry with them in everything else they do. When my daughter and I went to visit my mother in Australia, I also got inspired. She runs a successful dance studio there and my 18 month old daughter loved being in the studio environment with all the children dancing. I realised that running dance classes back in England would be a great idea. At the moment I run classes for all ages including adults at the Marlow Club on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

5. What are your plans for the future? To expand the class timetable for TDC while continuing to work as a choreographer on TV shows (like The Voice) and commercials so I can keep update-to-date with the latest styles & influences in the entertainment business, to pass on to the next generation of aspiring performers!
