Clubs and Classes News Gymboree Horsley are excited to offer two NEW classes – Theatre Arts and Ballet Classes Gymboree Theatre Arts is a dropoff drama class for 3-5 year olds on Wednesday afternoons from 3.454.45pm. Theatre Arts is a great way for children to develop confidence, self expression and concentration by using Drama, Singing, Dancing and Art. Plus, you get to enjoy watching your child in a live performance at the end the term! The show will be based on the film Frozen. Gymboree Horsley will also be offering Movement to Music classes based on ballet for 18 months – 3 years old. It is a great way for children to become aware of the space around them and have FUN. New Afternoon School for Stagecoach Godalming After the success of their morning school, Stagecoach Godalming is pleased to announce the launch of an afternoon school at Godalming College in January 2015. Students will work with their fun, energetic and professional teachers to develop their drama, dance and singing skills and learn skills for life. In music they will learn breathing techniques, how to strengthen their vocal timing, and create music through solo and group singing. Dance will focus on fitness, posture, co-ordination and physical movement. In the term they will touch on various styles of dance genres such as musical theatre, ballet, street dance and contemporary. In drama they will study voice and speech training, role-play, improvisation, production texts and physical theatre. At the end of term the various songs, routines and drama pieces learnt will be showcased to friends and family. Synergy Dance® Introduce New Street & Dance Fusion Class Synergy Dance® is launching a new Street & Dance Fusion class for children and teenagers on Saturday 8th November, in Guildford, from 9.45-10.30am for 6-11 years and 12-16 years. This dance class mixes DANCE styles & Street for boys and girls and is suitable for all levels.
