School holidays can give a much needed opportunity just to stare into space for a while or at the other end of the spectrum you could fill every second with activities.

Not every moment needs to be timetabled but kids do like to know what they’re doing. And if you’re working you want to know that they are being well looked after, maybe learning a new skill and hopefully having fun all at the same time. As usual when I’m putting this feature together I am suitably annoyed that I fall outside of the age-range to do any of these brilliant sounding camps and workshops!
