The Bridge by Prakriti Bandhan One fine day a long time ago, there were two men walking on the opposite side of the river bank, you could hear them screaming at each other about something but it was unclear what exactly had got them so riled up. When I got closer to them, attracted by the sounds of the argument as one usually is, they seemed to be going at it about the most absurd thing. The man who was named Dawkins shouted, “This is not right! The Pope said there is a Bridge and he said it with such conviction that anyone would have believed that there actually is a bridge!”

When I looked at the river I saw that there was nothing. The man named Wittgenstein on the other bank replied “The bridge’s existence doesn’t matter, the Pope said there was a bridge for the purpose of telling the people that this river can be crossed!”
