This is one calf’s pedigree that will be hard to beat. As her name implies Keeper was one we planned to keep. She will be the first offspring sold of this ET cow to date. Don’t let her off age fool you. She may be born late fall, but she’s catching up in leaps and bounds. Full herd health.

10L is a solid heifer from her confirmation to her pedigree. Her mom was an East Gen Ultimate feature at the RAWF in 2019. Her sire is Bolder- a combination of genetics that’s hard to beat. Her numbers speak for themselves. Don’t miss this opportunity to add a great one to your herd.

Ivana is a moderate, correct, and easy doing maternally crafted female out of maybe the easiest keeping cow I’ve ever owned coming out of the Blair Athol program. A daughter of the now deceased Perfecto 84F and bred to the newest acquisition by ST Genetics, NJW 202C

173D Steadfast 156J ET, with sexed female semen will ensure this cow family carriers on for generations to come. AI bred 25 May, 2023 and exposed to our new herd sire out of the Inaugural GKB&Barber Ranch Spring bull sale BR Genesis K023 ET. Checked safe to the AI date.

Reva is a cow in the making for sure, take the time to study her pedigree and the math is all done here. Stemming from the famed 105M cow owned by the folks at Sinnibar this maternal pedigree can do no wrong in my opinion. Bred AI on 01 April, 2023 to TH MasterPlan

183F with sexed female semen and exposed to our new herd sire out of the Inaugural GKB&Barber Ranch Spring bull sale BR Genesis K023 ET. Checked safe to the AI date.

Attention Junior Members

Due to changes in the CJHA Heifer Lottery, Sales are no longer able to buy in and be deemed a Heifer Lottery Sale. Only Individual breeders can buy in to be on the heifer lottery list.

If a Junior member won a heifer lottery voucher that was drawn at Bonanza, they may use that towards any purchase of a female at those particular breeder's farms or sale that the breeder has consigned to.

Beef-a-rama, the OJHA Provincial show, as well as the Bonanza, CJHA, national show now offer classes for heifer lottery purchases. Any female purchased with, or without, a voucher from a sanctioned heifer lottery breeder will qualify for those classes the following year at either show.

The incentive is to help our Juniors build their herds while giving recognition to the breeders they have selected their purchase from. You can find a list of heifer lottery breeders in the latest edition of our OHA Newsletter.

The sanctioned breeders who consign to our sale will have the heifer lottery logo beside their name in the consignors list at the start of the book.

If you should have any further questions about how the heifer lottery works, or if you are interested in becoming a heifer lottery breeder in 2024, you can contact:

Miranda Gibbons, our CJHA Rep in Ontario93Mirandag@gmail.com or

Libby Laycroft - libby@hereford.ca
