THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS DONORS THE ARCHDIOCESE OF CHICAGO is thankful to all of our donors. Since the Annual Catholic Appeal began in 1991, the generous people of the Archdiocese of Chicago have supported their neighbors locally and throughout the world with 2 million gifts totaling nearly $315 million. Lumen Cordium Society members have made 50,000 gifts totaling $118 million of the total funds raised. In addition to thanking our Lumen Cordium Society, which is celebrating 22 years of recognizing leadership donors to the Annual Catholic Appeal, we also wish to recognize three new giving societies: the Lumen Leadership Society, the Lumen Legacy Society and the Lumen Loyalists. Members of these three prestigious new giving categories show a special commitment to the Church and we thank them for their support.
