with Sagrada

Floodgate Games’ flagship title Sagrada was released in 2017 following a successful Kickstarter campaign. Since its inception, the award-winning game of Dice Drafting and Window Crafting has been translated into more than 20 languages and spawned several expansions. 2022 will see the series of Great Facades expansions come to a close with Sagrada: Glory. With the conclusion of this series of expansions (Passion, Life, & Glory) Floodgate now looks to the future with new ways to explore the Sagrada line of games.

Coming September to Kickstarter, Sagrada Artisans builds upon the successful Sagrada formula and brings it to an all-new standalone legacy campaign experience! Discover a twist on the classic Sagrada gameplay unconstrained by the shape and size of dice. Players will draft dice as usual, but then color in spaces in their windows to meet scoring objectives and window restrictions! In Sagrada Artisans you’ll compete as rival families of stainedglass window artisans, each chronicling your designs of the famous Sagrada Familia’s windows during its construction. Throughout a campaign spanning generations, each window pattern will present new objectives and challenges. Gain powerful new abilities and unlock wondrous new tools that you’ll carry through the campaign … and beyond! As one can expect from a legacy game, Sagrada Artisans includes new twists, unlockable content, and player upgrades to discover throughout the campaign. Players will have the opportunity to place over 100 stickers, and open dozens of boxes and envelopes to reveal how their contents will change the game! Not to mention, each player will have their own family journal where they complete their windows and record their family’s legacy. When the final pages of the players’ journals are complete one player’s family will stand above the rest with the most prestige.

The design and development team has been working on Sagrada Artisans for several years and it is an ambitious next step for Sagrada. Crowdfunding this labor of love made the most sense for Floodgate to bring this legacy game to Sagrada fans!

The Sagrada Artisans Kickstarter will be offered in English only with worldwide delivery. We plan to include special (noncontent) upgrades just for backers, and a retailer pledge level to allow retailers to get their stock ahead of others when the game is released next year!
