What made you choose to work for Fairway?
Fairway really appealed to me because of the employee benefits they offer, such as flexible working and a relaxed working environment. Fairway has also enabled me to earn whilst I study towards globally recognised qualifications.
What professional training have you done?
I have recently completed two ICA Diplomas, one in Anti-Money Laundering and the other in Financial Crime.
What do you do on an average day?
My role is to provide support and assistance to ensure that Fairway are compliant with Jersey’s AML regulations. In Compliance, you are exposed to all areas, making the role diverse and exciting.

What is your next step?
I still would like to continue to study, which will enable me to gain more knowledge within the industry, allowing me to develop and grow in my professional career.
What advice would you give yourself as a graduate considering the experience you have now?
To trust the process! Joining the finance industry straight after school was challenging at the start, but throughout my career so far, I have learnt invaluable transferable skills which have helped me overcome everyday challenges. It is important to push yourself outside your comfort zone and seize every opportunity which has been offered to you – everything is a learning curve and happens for a reason.
